I'm new to this I've never done one yet but very interested. I got a gps for Christmas so I could try my hand at this. I'm just wondering how does one know if the cache is found in both summer and winter? I don't want to be looking for one I'd it's under snow? Anyway let me know if you can on how I can tell if is on under or above ground

    Thanks in advance

We in the north usually refer to the snowflake in the attributes as being winter friendly and above the normal snow depth----That being said some cachers think it to mean it is available in winter and it may be under snow but findable after some digging---hope this helps--(TY)
