Help Please?? adopting

I was on the main Geocaching Forums and I was reading were there was a bunch of things up for adoption.

How does the adoption thing work..Thought i would ask if someone has the answer.

Simply contact the person offering up the adoption, and give him/her your GC handle. They initiate the adoption from their end. GC will transfer the listing into your account, and it becomes yours.
